Welcome to our IEEE Workshop Series of Fall 2022!

Our UH branch is providing its membership with several multi-week workshops covering a variety of ECE topics. This particular series details the intricacies behind a Aideepen ST Link V2 Microcontroller in the effort to build a functioning MP3 player with LED Matrix! This session covers:

UART & Constructing the MP3 Player

• What are MCU communication methods?

• What is UART?

• Wire and program the MP3 module via UART

• What are buttons?

• MCU I/O

• How does a speaker work?

• Wire the speaker to the MP3 Player

The second session of this workshop begins on Thursday, 11/10/2022 from 12 - 1 PM in the IEEE Lounge, Engineering Building 1, Room N367.
